00 / What ipcore operates

A data center for your own equipment and connectivity chosen by the customer.

MAD-NE offers full 42U racks, redundant A+B power, contracted power from 1 to 5 kW per rack, multi-carrier connectivity, and 24×7×365 access and remote hands.

The infrastructure is hosted in Madrid's connectivity environment and can be managed from anywhere in Spain. The customer retains ownership and administration of their equipment; ipcore operates the building, the electrical infrastructure, the cooling, access, and physical coordination inside the facility.

01.1 Colocation

Full 42U racks, 600 or 800 mm wide, with two 32 A power feeds, A and B. Power is contracted between 1 and 5 kW per rack, in 1 kW increments, with metered power or a flat rate.

01.2 Connectivity

Carriers, dark fiber, DCI, and links to ESpanix, DE-CIX, and other facilities to design the network around each project.

01.4 24×7 access to your equipment

Your authorized technicians can access MAD-NE any day, at any time, identify themselves on entry, and work directly on their servers and network core. They have mobile work tables with monitor, keyboard, and mouse, plus Wi-Fi access.

03 / Connectivity

Your connectivity doesn't come pre-decided with the rack.

MAD-NE lets you choose and combine connectivity according to the destinations, capacity, and continuity each architecture needs. The Meet-Me Room, dark fiber, DCI links, and access to ESpanix, DE-CIX, and other facilities expand the design possibilities.

04 / Under your control

Your servers.
Your providers.
Your decisions.

At MAD-NE, the hardware belongs to the customer or their technology provider. Power, the electricity billing model, and connectivity are chosen for each project. The colocation service has no minimum term.

That is what independence means on this website: clear ownership, real alternatives, and separable decisions.

05 / 24×7×365 operations

The infrastructure is outside your office, not out of your reach.

MAD-NE offers 24×7×365 access and remote hands. For local or remote customers, ipcore can handle:

  • receiving hardware from couriers;
  • racking switches, routers, and servers;
  • cabling and physical checks;
  • reboots;
  • replacing disks, connectors, and cards;
  • managing shipments and RMA returns;
  • remote hands.

Every intervention is coordinated with the customer and confirmed on completion.

06 / Cooling and water

We cool without evaporating water.

MAD-NE combines Carrier chillers and direct expansion in an N+1 architecture. Heat is rejected without resorting to evaporative or adiabatic cooling: less dependence on water for an infrastructure built to operate continuously.

07 / Experience

More than 25 years operating telecommunications.

For years, MAD-NE hosted almost exclusively the infrastructure of Ran Networks, one of Spain's first Internet providers. After its sale in 2020, ipcore opened the facility to the market.

The current management remains involved in operations, the commercial relationship, and decisions about the facility.
